The Florida College Music Educators Association (FCMEA) is the component organization of FMEA for instructors in higher education.  The purpose of the association is:

  • To promote teaching at the collegiate level in the State of Florida

  • To encourage improvement and advancement in college and university music programs

  • To encourage communication between the colleges and universities in the State of Florida

  • To address common issues at the colleges and universities in the State of Florida

  • To encourage and assist the professional growth of the membership
